Request Account Deletion - TranSACT

This form is for users of the TranSACT mobile app (Georgia Tech) to request deletion of their account and associated data.

How this works:

  1. Submit this form using the email address associated with your TranSACT account.

  2. We may contact you at that email address to verify ownership.

  3. After verification, eligible account data will be deleted and you will receive confirmation.

Data deletion details:

  • Deleted: account identifiers, app profile data, in-app preferences, and app activity associated with your user account (where feasible).

  • May be retained: de-identified or aggregated research data that cannot reasonably be linked back to you, and minimal records required for compliance, security, or auditing.

Timeline: Verified deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days. Certain compliance or security logs may be retained for up to 90 days or longer if required by law or institutional policy.
